"I met Manley in 2019, after our annual conference, while planning our 2020 conference. Who knew what was about to happen next to the world, read, COVID-19? For the next two years, we put our in-person conference on hold while we stayed in touch. Finally, in the fall of 2021, when restrictions were being lifted and mask mandates removed, we were able to get the wheels rolling. And thankfully, Manley was still able to honor his commitment from two years ago!
